Status reconciliation — 2026-10-22
Completed the develop-scoped documentation task in PR #60, merged 2026-10-20. PR records production build, typecheck/lint, 152 unit, 11 component and 10 browser checks, with all 43 pages rendering and valid links. Production deployment/live game operations were explicitly outside this task.
Scope
Review of develop at 99c7a0b5a07d5c509952c2f94bc394e52c164770, including pinned Realty submodule 95eba03c1041f57e79f9f0a659d9d392d0f2ddab. Consolidated task requested by the maintainer; implement in economy-explorer/docs and its navigation, with focused documentation checks.
Confirmed findings
- Incorrect tax configuration (high): admin/config-chestshop.md says TAX_AMOUNT is inert and directs staff to Treasury; EconomyServiceImpl.resolveTaxRate actually reads TAX_AMOUNT and SERVER_TAX_AMOUNT as percentages. admin/config-realty.md describes removed top-level default-formula/exempt-plot-threshold and an obsolete exponential formula; pinned Realty taxes.yml uses ordered rules, per-rule exempt-threshold and a cubic default. Published live/default claims are not grounded in the deployed tenant.
- Unsafe or invalid operator instructions: operator-commands.md lists nonexistent
/tax trigger balance <player>, uses account enum PERSONAL where AccountResolver expects player/government/business/account, and fails to explain that each manual tax trigger uses a fresh period timestamp and can charge again. Business tax allocation docs describe largest-account rounding rather than largest-remainder distribution.
- Stale access/privacy descriptions: glossary still calls legacy Explorer viewer a global oversight role; firm role guides imply ADMIN staff can manage proprietor-only accounts; government authorizer summaries omit command permission requirements; private Explorer data is described as visible only to its owner despite permitted staff access.
- Missing feature documentation: in-game password recovery exists only in wiki/password-recovery.md; TreasuryAPI lacks a full command/config reference; API guide omits public market/tax, transaction feed, firm endpoints and retry/idempotency guidance. Recent finder/import/integration behavior needs discoverable operational instructions.
- Missing operator procedures: no central runbook covering bootstrap and service configuration, routine checks, account/firm administration, issuer limits and API/SERVICE token rotation, access recovery, tax/payroll incidents, webhook diagnosis, ChestShop recovery/cutover, Realty operations, release/migration/backup/restore, staging refresh, observability and incident evidence. Existing detailed repository procedures are not discoverable from Explorer Admin docs.
- Navigation and maintenance gaps: admin sidebar is a fixed partial list; new runbook/reference pages need links from landing pages and tests for rendered internal links, route generation and admin gating.
Acceptance criteria
- Compare all existing Explorer docs with commands, configs, routes, auth policy, migrations and current feature history; retain a source-backed coverage record.
- Correct findings above consistently across guides/concepts/references/admin pages. Distinguish shipped defaults/examples from tenant runtime settings.
- Add usable player recovery/API documentation and comprehensive admin runbooks with prerequisites, steps, success checks, failure/rollback paths and links to authoritative detailed procedures.
- Surface new pages in the existing docs navigation while retaining docs.admin.read gating and exclusion from public sitemap/navigation.
- Validate Markdown/frontmatter/internal links, typecheck/lint and focused existing tests; exercise public and authorized/unauthorized admin docs in a local browser. Record any unavailable live-server checks.
