User supplied a screenshot of feedback in Discord #economics on 2026-10-27. The reporter describes two Economy Explorer usability problems:
- A transaction table has a small horizontal overflow: the rightmost monetary amount is clipped and requires scrolling slightly to read the complete value.
- The balance is visible in the account listing, but the reporter also wants it visible after opening the detail view. The accompanying screenshot shows a firm overview header, so verify both the firm overview and the linked account detail route rather than assuming the screenshot is an account page.
Expected outcome
- Complete transaction amounts, including signs, currency and decimals, remain readable at the affected viewport without a tiny unnecessary horizontal scroll. Preserve useful responsive table behavior on genuinely narrow screens; do not solve clipping by hiding or truncating monetary values.
- Show a clearly labelled current balance in the appropriate firm/account detail view. If aggregating a firm's accounts, label the total explicitly and avoid double counting. Preserve existing viewer permissions and restricted/unknown states; unavailable balance must not appear as zero.
Verification
- Reproduce using the transaction table and detail-page layouts shown in the supplied screenshot; the exact route and browser viewport are not established by the image alone.
- Exercise desktop and mobile widths, long account/firm names and large positive/negative amounts.
- Verify balances against the corresponding listing/account data and check authorized versus unauthorized viewers.
- Add focused layout/browser regression coverage and capture before/after evidence.
